Man slashed on the head by armed robbers in the Bronx

NEW YORK, NY – Police are investigating a slashing incident and robbery that took place in the Bronx on Sunday. According to police, the incident occurred at around 1:45 pm in front of 80 West Fordham Road.

In a statement, the NYPD reported a 38-year-old man was attacked by multiple individuals who slashed him in the head with a cutting instrument before taking his cell phone and fleeing on foot.

The victim was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Saint Barnabas by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in stable condition.
