Man sought for groping woman on Manhattan subway train

New York, NY – Police are searching for a man accused of groping a woman aboard a Manhattan subway earlier this month.

On Thursday, September 11, at about 6:05 p.m., a 24-year-old woman reported she was riding a northbound ‘6’ train when an unidentified man approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks, officials said. The man fled the station and was last seen running near Lexington Avenue and East 68th Street.

The victim was not physically injured, authorities said. Investigators are reviewing station surveillance footage in an effort to identify the individual.
