Man Sought in Knifepoint Robbery in New York City

NEW YORK CITY, NY – A 21-year-old female was robbed at knife-point on Monday, January 1.

The incident occurred in the vicinity of 42 Avenue and 97th Place, with the perpetrator demanding currency from the victim.

The assailant, described as a 35-year-old male with a medium complexion and heavy build, fled the scene on foot heading northbound on National Street from 43 Avenue.

He was last seen wearing a blue and gray “Buffalo University” hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, white and gray sneakers, and a blue beanie hat.

The victim was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition. The NYPD is requesting assistance in identifying the individual involved and encourages anyone with information to contact them through their Crime Stoppers Hotline or online platforms.
