Man stabbed 10 times in Northeast Philadelphia, suspect in custody

PHILADELPHIA — A 39-year-old man was stabbed multiple times Tuesday night in the city’s 15th District, authorities said.

The attack occurred at 9:59 p.m. on the 46XX block of Oakland Street, where the victim was stabbed 10 times throughout his body by a known suspect.

The injured man was taken by a private vehicle to Jefferson-Frankford Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.

Officers secured the scene, recovered a weapon, and took a person of interest into custody.

Northeast Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
