Man stabbed during robbery in Brooklyn, suspect at large

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are searching for a suspect who stabbed a man during a robbery in Bushwick earlier this month.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, November 5, at approximately 11 a.m., when the 45-year-old victim was sitting in his vehicle opposite 380 Jefferson Street, police said. An unidentified individual approached the car and removed the victim’s bookbag from the rear of the vehicle.

When the victim confronted the suspect, a verbal dispute ensued, during which the suspect displayed a knife and stabbed the victim in the torso. The attacker then fled northbound on Jefferson Street.

The victim was later transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition via private means, according to authorities.

Police are continuing to investigate and are asking for assistance in identifying the suspect.
