Man Struck in Head, Robbed on NYC Subway Train

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department seeks the public’s help in identifying two suspects linked to a robbery.

On Thursday, at around 6:50 p.m., while on the northbound #7 train near Junction Boulevard and Roosevelt Avenue, two unidentified men assaulted a 39-year-old victim.

The assailants reportedly struck the victim’s head with an unidentified object, causing him to fall. They then snatched the victim’s air pods and $400 before exiting the train. The victim was later transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and is in stable condition.

Descriptions of the suspects have been provided: One is a man around 30 to 40 years old, 6’2″ tall in a wheelchair, wearing a green shirt, dark pants, and sneakers.

The second individual is approximately 30 to 35 years old, 6’0″ tall, wearing a light polo shirt, beige pants, and sneakers.
