Northwest Baltimore shooting under investigation after man walks into hospital

BALTIMORE, MD — A man with a gunshot wound arrived at a local hospital Sunday evening, prompting an investigation by Northwest District detectives as police work to determine where the shooting took place.

The victim showed up around 6:05 p.m. with what doctors described as a non-life-threatening injury. Patrol officers responded to the hospital to interview him, but the exact location of the gunfire has not yet been established.

Detectives are continuing to investigate and are asking anyone with information to contact the Northwest District at 410-396-2466 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
