Man Wanted on Domestic Assault Charge in Highspire

HIGHSPIRE, PA – On Monday, police officers from the local department responded to a reported incident of domestic violence.

A victim, whose identity has been withheld for their protection, was found at the intersection of Lumber and Market Street, suffering from injuries resulting from an alleged assault.

The accused, Adam Runion, reportedly fled the scene before officers arrived. Runion has now been charged with Strangulation, Simple Assault and Driving with a Suspended License.

Efforts to locate and question him have been unsuccessful so far.

The Highspire Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for Runion and urges anyone with information about his whereabouts to submit a tip.
