Man Who Attacked Teen in Queens Sought for Hate Crime

QUEENS, NY — The New York City Police Department is actively investigating a hate crime incident that occurred in Queens on Tuesday afternoon. At around 4:25 PM, an 18-year-old male was assaulted and robbed at the corner of 160th Street and Jamaica Avenue.

The victim was approached by an unidentified individual who made anti-white statements before physically assaulting him. The assailant pushed the victim to the ground and snatched his phone, then fled westbound on Jamaica Avenue towards Parsons Avenue. Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any injuries during the incident.

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect involved in this targeted attack. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the authorities to aid in the investigation and ensure the safety of the community.
