Man Who Beat Woman Inside Hotel Room, Stole Her Car, Charged

LITITZ, PA – Miguel Dejesus-Gomez, a 25-year-old man from Lititz, has been charged with Robbery, Strangulation, Theft, False Imprisonment, Harassment, and Simple Assault.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, August 17, at around 5:47 a.m. at the Warwick Inn and Suites, located at 613 Furnace Hills Pike in Warwick Township.

The victim reported that Dejesus-Gomez entered her hotel room and engaged in a physical altercation. During the incident, he attempted to steal her vehicle keys and subsequently strangled and assaulted her before taking her vehicle.

Dejesus-Gomez was apprehended by the Lancaster City Police and transported to Lancaster General Hospital.

On August 19, he was taken to Lancaster County Prison for arraignment. The charges were brought before MDJ Tobin. The NLCRPD ask anyone with further information about this case to come forward.
