BUFFALO, NY – A North Carolina man who got into an argument and pulled a gun on a Buffalo resident who asked him to stop peeing on his house back in April has finally been charged.
According to Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn. 33-year-old Devin D. Brown of Concord, North Carolina was arraigned yesterday afternoon.
Buffalo Police reported on Tuesday, April 5, at approximately 6:44 p.m., a resident was sitting on the porch of a residence on Millicent Avenue when she saw the defendant urinating on the side of the home.
“A verbal altercation ensued when the victim allegedly confronted the defendant. During the argument, the defendant allegedly pulled out what appeared to be a handgun and waved it in the air. It is further alleged that the defendant walked to his vehicle and displayed what appeared to be a second, larger firearm. The alleged incident occurred in the presence of three children,” Flynn said.
According to court records, Buffalo Police responded to investigate the complaint and approached the defendant about the reported incident.
“During the investigation, officers allegedly recovered a loaded, illegal handgun from inside the defendant’s pocket. Police also allegedly recovered an illegal, loaded semi-automatic rifle found in plain view on the backseat of the defendant’s vehicle,” Buffalo police reported.
