Man who threatened to kill Atlantic City woman turned himself in to police

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – On July 21, 2021, a man wanted for threatening to kill a woman surrendered to law enforcement.At 11:09 pm, patrol officers responded to the 1100 block of Reading Avenue for a report of a man threatening to kill a woman with a knife. Officers arrived to locate the victim who was not injured.

The victim was inside her residence with Aaron Carrington when he became agitated and retrieved a knife from the kitchen. He threatened to kill the victim while she was holding her infant child. The victim was able to flee to a family member’s residence. Carrington fled the area before the arrival of police officers. Based upon the investigation by officers, a wanted warrant was issued for the arrest of Carrington. Shortly after 8:00 am today, he surrendered himself to officers at the Public Safety Building.
