Man, Woman Found Dead, Shot Inside Scott Township Home

SCOTT TOWNSHIP, PA – In the early hours of today, the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit was summoned to assist in a grim discovery in Scott Township. At 2:57 AM, local authorities were alerted to a shooting at a residence within the 1300 block of Great Oak Drive. Upon arrival, first responders found two adults, a male and a female, with gunshot wounds. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. The Allegheny County Police Department urges anyone with information to come forward and contact the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Informants have the option to remain anonymous.

Police have not revealed at this time whether this was a homicide-related incident or a murder-suicide.
