Man wounded in overnight shooting on Tackawanna Street

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A 31-year-old man was shot early Saturday morning on the 4800 block of Tackawanna Street in the city’s 15th District, according to police.

The shooting occurred at approximately 12:29 a.m., leaving the victim with a gunshot wound to his right thigh. Police transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.

Officers held the scene for investigation, but no arrests have been made, and no weapons were recovered as of Saturday morning.
