Manassas man wanted for slashing woman, smashing her with bottle

MANASSAS, Va. — Police are searching for a 33-year-old man wanted in connection with a domestic dispute that escalated into an assault early Sunday morning in Manassas.

Officers responded to a residence in the 8000 block of Ashland Avenue at approximately 4:56 a.m. on October 20, 2024, after receiving a report of a domestic altercation. According to the investigation, the victim, a 32-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as Kevin Ramos, were involved in a verbal argument that turned violent.

During the dispute, Ramos allegedly retrieved a knife and nicked the victim’s neck before throwing a glass bottle that struck her in the head. The two then separated, and Ramos left the scene before police arrived. The victim was treated on-site for minor injuries.

Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for Ramos, who remains at large. Police have been unable to locate him despite attempts to do so.

Kevin Ramos is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 143 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He faces charges of malicious wounding and domestic assault and battery.
