Suspect Arrested Following Assault and Robbery Incident in New York City

NEW YORK, NY – On Sunday at approximately 4:10 AM, a 23-year-old woman was followed and attacked inside a residential building near Thompson Street and Prince Street. The assailant physically assaulted her, sexually assaulted her, and then fled southbound on Thompson Street. Emergency services transported the victim to a hospital for evaluation.

Following an ongoing investigation, Ellow Williams, a 30-year-old male from 10 Catherine Slip, NY, NY, was arrested on Tuesday at 4:15 PM within the 5th Precinct. Williams faces multiple charges, including one count each of rape, strangulation, stalking, burglary, sex abuse, coercion, and criminal possession of a firearm, in addition to three counts of robbery.
