Manhattan Store Sells $50K Powerball Third-Prize-Winning Ticket

MANHATTAN, NEW YORK – In a stroke of lottery luck, a third-prize-winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Manhattan, as announced by the New York Lottery. This winning ticket was purchased for the Powerball drawing that took place on January 22.

The lucky retailer is Mom and Pop Corner at 2137 2nd Avenue in Manhattan.

Powerball, known for its substantial winnings, draws numbers from a pool of one to 69. Additionally, the red Power Ball, a critical component of the winning combination, is drawn from a separate set of numbers between one and 26.

Lottery enthusiasts and hopefuls can catch the Powerball drawing live, which is broadcast every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m
