Manhunt Continues for fugitive wanted in North Jersey carjacking, kidnapping incident

PATERSON, N.J. — Police are seeking a suspect involved in a carjacking and kidnapping that occurred Thursday morning near Marion Street.

According to the Paterson Police Department, the suspect entered a Honda van in the area and drove off with a juvenile in the back seat. The vehicle was later recovered, and the child was found safe.

Authorities have not released further details about the suspect or the circumstances of the incident. The investigation is ongoing as officers work to identify and locate the individual responsible.
