Manhunt for Fugitive Wanted for Slashing in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an assault in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene neighborhood earlier this week.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, October 29, at approximately 9:14 a.m. in front of 292 Ashland Place, according to police. A 30-year-old man was walking in the area when he was approached by an unidentified individual who cursed at him before slashing him in the face.

After the attack, the suspect fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. Emergency medical personnel responded and transported the victim to Maimonides Medical Center, where he was treated in stable condition.

The NYPD has released an image of the individual sought in connection with this assault and is urging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
