ManShot and Killed With Gunshot Wound to Head in Queens

QUEENS, NY — Early Saturday morning, around 1:42 AM, a 25-year-old man was fatally shot at 199-23 Linden Blvd, within the area of the 113th Precinct. Responding to a 911 call, police found Kardell Lester with a gunshot wound to the head. Lester was quickly transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Lester, a resident of 2C Sarah Street, Kingston, Jamaica, was identified by authorities, and his family has been notified. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the police continue their investigation into the shooting.
