Manville Police Investigating September 11th Double Shooting

MANVILLE, N.J. – Police in Manvel investigating a double shooting that took place on Sunday morning and Manville.

Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald said that at approximately 5:02 a.m., Manville Police Officers were dispatched to the area of South Main Street in response to a 9-1-1 call reporting a male suffering from a gunshot wound.

“Upon arrival, Manville Police Department officers located an adult male victim with a gunshot wound who reported that he was shot while in a residence in the area of North Weiss Street. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment,” police reported. “Manville Police Officers then responded to the residence in the area of North Weiss Street where they located a second adult male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound.”

That victim was also transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
