Maryland Lottery launches holiday scratch-offs with return of popular Chicago shopping spree

BALTIMORE, MD – The Maryland Lottery kicked off the holiday season Friday with six new scratch-off games and the return of its fan-favorite second-chance promotion — including a high-speed shopping spree through a Chicago warehouse.

Back for the first time since 2020, the Cash and Dash Shopping Spree is the marquee prize of this year’s Holiday promotion. Six lucky winners will receive a four-day, three-night trip for two to Chicago in 2026. The trip includes $1,000 in spending cash and the opportunity to race through a warehouse in a 90-second dash, grabbing as much merchandise as they can load into a cart.

The promotion runs from October 17 through January 12 and features additional second-chance prizes, including one $50,000 cash prize and 47 prizes of $5,000.

Participants must enter eligible tickets through My Lottery Rewards to qualify. Entries are cumulative and continue through all drawing periods.

The following holiday scratch-offs are eligible:

  • $1 Just 1 Buck – four collectible reindeer designs; top prize $500
  • $2 Snow Much Fun – top prize $10,000
  • $3 Candy Cane Cash – holiday-scented ticket; top prize $30,000
  • $5 Festive Fortune – top prize $50,000
  • $10 Silver Bell Bucks – top prize $100,000
  • $20 Gifts of Green – top prize $500,000

In addition, three new FAST PLAY holiday games will launch November 3 and are also eligible for second-chance entries: $1 Reindeer Riches, $5 Snowflake Cash, and $10 Holiday Money Match.

Both winning and non-winning FAST PLAY and non-winning scratch-off tickets are eligible to be entered into the promotion via My Lottery Rewards.

Since its founding, the Maryland Lottery has generated billions in revenue for public programs and continues to expand seasonal offerings to engage players across the state.
