Maryland Men Arrested After Pharmacy Fraud Attempt

SELBYVILLE, DE – Delaware State Police arrested Micah Lee, 23, of Silver Spring, Maryland, and Bashir Abukar, 21, of Bowie, Maryland, after attempting to fraudulently obtain prescription medication from a Selbyville pharmacy on Sunday.

After attempting to retrieve a forged prescription, Lee and Abukar led troopers on a vehicle chase before their car became disabled. Both men face multiple charges and were arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3.
