Bowie, MD – Bren Bren, a Bowie resident and owner of a junk removal company named “Star Power,” claimed a $50,000 prize from a scratch-off ticket. Bren Bren visited Maryland Lottery headquarters on Saturday to collect her winnings and share her experience. Accompanied by a friend, she expressed her love for the excitement of playing the Lottery and the joy of winning unexpected prizes.

After a long day at work during the week, Bren Bren and her colleagues made a stop at the Landover Hills Exxon for gas and other supplies. While waiting in line, she spotted a $50,000 Cash scratch-off and decided to purchase two along with some Powerball tickets. Back at home, she scratched the tickets and used the Maryland Lottery app to confirm her $50,000 top-prize win, which left her overjoyed and in disbelief.

The elated winner plans on investing a portion of her prize money back into her business, intending to purchase an additional truck for her junk removal company, “Star Power.” For selling the winning scratch-off ticket, Landover Hills Exxon at 6579 Annapolis Road will be rewarded with a $500 bonus from the Maryland Lottery.
