WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are searching for a man involved in a sexual abuse offense in Northwest D.C. early Saturday morning, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Around 4:08 a.m. on Saturday, the suspect reportedly approached a woman standing in the 5500 block of 9th Street, Northwest, brandished a firearm, and made unwanted sexual contact before fleeing.
The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build, last seen wearing dark clothing and a ski mask.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to call (202) 727-9099 or text a tip to 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
