Jackson, NJ – A major warehouse development has been proposed for a 30.4-acre property along Hope Chapel Road in Jackson Township, potentially transforming farmland into a large industrial logistics site.
The proposed project at 315 Hope Chapel Road would include three warehouse buildings totaling more than 325,000 square feet of industrial space.

Three-building warehouse complex proposed
According to development plans, the project includes three separate buildings designed for industrial and logistics operations.
Building A would be the largest structure at approximately 184,600 square feet with a 40-foot clear height and 34 loading docks. Plans show space for about 190 parking spaces and a drive-in loading bay.
Building B would total about 77,760 square feet and include 22 loading docks along with parking for 89 vehicles.
Additional distribution building planned
A third structure, Building C, would add another 63,120 square feet to the site.
Plans show the building designed with 22 box-truck loading stalls and approximately 104 parking spaces.
Location near major transportation routes

The site sits roughly 3.2 miles from Route 70 and about 4.5 miles from Route 9, two major roadways used for freight traffic in Ocean County.
Developers also highlight the property’s proximity to major shipping hubs, including the Port of Newark approximately 42 miles away and the Port of Philadelphia about 53 miles away.
Land currently zoned for farming
The property is currently listed as farmland under the township’s 3A agricultural zoning designation.
If constructed, the project would convert the 30-acre site into a large logistics and distribution complex as warehouse development continues to expand across Central Jersey.
