Medina man scores $50K Powerball win at local bar

MEDINA, OH — A lucky Powerball player in Medina won $50,000 in the January 18 drawing after matching four numbers plus the Powerball.

The winning ticket was purchased at Johnny Malloy’s, located at 1038 North Court St. The player used auto pick to select the numbers: 14, 31, 35, 64, and 69, with the Powerball 23.

This third-tier prize win comes as the Powerball jackpot continues to climb, with Wednesday’s drawing estimated at $195 million.

The Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to education since 1974.
