DOWNINGTOWN, PA – In the latest Mega Millions drawing held on Friday, July 28, the Pennsylvania Lottery has recognized two winning tickets with a combined total prize of $6 million. One of these tickets, worth an impressive $5 million, was sold in Chester County, while the other, valued at $1 million, was sold in McKean County.

The winning ticket worth $5 million was sold at Thorndale Inn at 430 Bondsville Road in Downingtown, Chester County. In recognition of their good fortune, Thorndale Inn earned a well-deserved $10,000 bonus for selling this remarkable Mega Millions with Megaplier® ticket.

On the other hand, the $1 million-winning Mega Millions ticket was sold at Smethport, situated at 18265 Route 6 in McKean County. For their part in selling this lucky ticket, Smethport received a $5,000 bonus.

The $5 million-winning Mega Millions with Megaplier ticket successfully matched all five white balls drawn in the numbers 5-10-28-52-63, although it did not match the yellow Mega Ball 18. As a result, the ticket secured an incredible $5 million prize, subject to applicable withholding. The Megaplier drawn was five, which significantly increased the ticket’s value. Without the $1 Megaplier option, the ticket would still have been worth an impressive $1 million.

The other winning ticket, worth $1 million, matched all five white balls drawn, resulting in the substantial prize, less applicable withholding.
