Mexican National Sentenced to 27 Years in Federal Prison for Drug Trafficking

SHERMAN, TX – Fernando Alfredo Rodriguez-Reyes, 29, was sentenced to 27 years in federal prison today for drug trafficking and money laundering, U.S. Attorney Damien M. Diggs announced.

Rodriguez-Reyes pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, heroin, and cocaine, as well as conspiracy to commit money laundering. The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Judge Amos L. Mazzant.

On June 18, 2020, Rodriguez-Reyes was apprehended during a search warrant execution at a residence on Lytham Drive in Dallas. The property was identified as a hub for distributing multi-kilogram quantities of narcotics in the Dallas, Lewisville, McKinney, Carrollton, Fort Worth, and Plano areas.
