MIAMI BEACH, FL – Early on Easter morning, Miami Beach Police Department officers were flagged down because a bunny was on the loose in the neighborhood. During a routine patrol, the officer sprung into action. Bunny sightings are not uncommon on Easter morning each year, but this time it was the real deal.
The officer was able to secure the area and conduct a thorough search of the neighborhood. Eventually, the fugitive bunny was brought into custody.
“Officer Rivera was flagged down regarding a bunny on the loose. He was able to safely secure it and return it to its home. The bunny’s family was grateful,” the department said.
