MIDDLE TOWNSHIP, NJ – Middle Township police officers bid farewell to a veteran of their department today.
“Congratulations to Captain Robert “Bob” Shepherd (Ret.) on his retirement. Today we had a luncheon to celebrate his last day. Chief Christopher Leusner and Mayor Tim Donahue thanked Bob for his service to Middle Township. Bob served 25 years as a full-time police officer, starting at Avalon Police Department and then serving 24 years with Middle Township. Congrats Bob and good luck,” the department said.
