Middletown Woman Arrested for Drug and Weapons Charges

MIDDLETOWN, DE – A local woman, Helen Dugan, 40, was arrested on drug and weapons charges on Thursday, following a months-long investigation by the Middletown Police Department. Dugan’s residence, located on the 800 block of S. Cass St., was identified as a narcotics distribution point.

During the execution of a search warrant, with assistance from the Delaware State Police SORT Team, the MPD found a Tier 2 quantity of Methamphetamine and three handguns in Dugan’s home.

Three minors were present during the operation. Dugan now faces charges including Drug Dealing – Tier 2 Quantity, three counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited, three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
