Columbus, OH – A fortunate resident of Ohio is now the proud owner of a winning Powerball ticket worth $1,000,000 from the July 5 drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K, conveniently located at 5499 Hall Rd in Columbus. By matching five numbers correctly but missing the Powerball, the lucky player secured the game’s second-tier prize.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 17, 24, 48, 62, and 68, with the Powerball number being 23.

With the current Powerball jackpot soaring to $590 million, accompanied by a cash option of $304.8 million, anticipation continues to build for the next drawing scheduled for Saturday.

The previous Powerball jackpot was claimed in April at Get Go Market and Cafe in Macedonia, Ohio. The monumental prize, amounting to $252.6 million, was collected through a Trust.
