Oak Orchard, DE – Delaware State Police have apprehended 34-year-old Michael Marciano, Jr., from Millsboro, Delaware, on charges of driving under the influence (DUI) and various gun-related offenses.

The arrest occurred on the night of February 14, 2024, around 10:28 p.m., when a state trooper noticed a silver Toyota Tacoma parked at a Royal Farms gas station at 26672 John J. Williams Highway, with the driver, later identified as Marciano, seemingly asleep at the wheel with the vehicle running. A check by the trooper revealed drug paraphernalia visible inside the truck and a concealed 9mm Glock handgun in Marciano’s waistband upon his exit from the vehicle. Signs of impairment led to the administration of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which resulted in Marciano’s arrest.

A thorough search of Marciano and his vehicle uncovered a loaded .38 Smith and Wesson revolver, another loaded 9mm Glock handgun, a loaded magazine for the Glock, fictitious Military and DEA identification cards, a fake DEA badge and patches, a wax heroin bag, and additional drug paraphernalia.

Marciano was taken to Troop 4 for processing, where he faced multiple charges. Following arraignment by Justice of the Peace Court 3, he was detained at Sussex Correctional Institution on a $38,400 secured bond.
