Millville man killed in deadly shooting in Cumberland County

MILLVILLE, NJ — Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old Millville man that took place late Saturday morning.

According to the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office, Roshaud Rhett was shot around 11:05 a.m. on June 14 in the 300 block of Maurice Street in Millville. Rhett was transported to Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, where he was pronounced dead.

The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office and Millville Police Department are leading the investigation into the incident. No suspects or motives have been disclosed at this time.

Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae confirmed that the investigation remains active as detectives continue to gather information.
