Missing Kayaker Found Dead in Susquehanna River

Harrisburg, PA – The search for a missing kayaker came to a tragic end when the body of 44-year-old Brenton King was discovered in the Susquehanna River on Sunday, February 18. Authorities in Harrisburg confirmed the recovery, marking a somber conclusion to a nearly two-day search effort.

King’s kayak was initially found by firefighters in the Susquehanna River, just south of City Island, around 2 p.m. on Friday, February 16. Local police had been involved in the search following the discovery of the kayak.
