Lawson, MO A Missouri man is in custody after shooting his wife five times as she lay in their bedroom closet following a violent argument at their residence. The incident took place over the weekend.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrived at the residence in Lawson, responding to reports of a murder around 10:30 p.m. The victim, identified as Patty Neary, was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds in the closet.
The victim’s husband, Lawrence Patrick Neary IV, was apprehended at another location early Sunday following the incident.
