Monroe Township Police Welcome New K-9 Officers Cairo and Boa

MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Monroe Township Police Department recently announced the addition of two new K-9 officers, Cairo and Boa, along with their handlers, Officer Don Farnelli and Officer Cody Hendrickson, respectively. The team completed their training at the Philadelphia Police Department Canine Patrol Class #127.

The graduation marks a significant milestone for the department, enhancing its capabilities in law enforcement and community engagement. Cairo and Boa will soon undergo further training in narcotics detection, expanding their skills and contributions to the department.

The Monroe Township Police Department expressed excitement and pride in welcoming the new members and anticipates their positive impact on the community’s safety and well-being.
