SUFFOLK COUNTY, N.Y. – Mark Ripolone, 35, formerly of Montauk, has entered a guilty plea to five counts of Grand Larceny.
Ripolone admitted to defrauding nearly $400,000 over three years, exploiting legitimate businesses.
Ripolone was the proprietor of “123 Delivery” and “Hampton Management Group, Inc.”, both located in Montauk. Court documents reveal that between September 2018 and October 2021, Ripolone took around $225,000 from “123 Delivery” customers under the pretense of legitimate business.
In a separate fraudulent act in 2020, Ripolone took $160,000 from a payroll company.
On Tuesday, Ripolone’s guilty plea encompassed three counts of Class C felonies and two counts of Class D felonies. As part of his plea deal, Ripolone must pay $143,379 in restitution by his sentencing date. Non-compliance could result in a two to six-year jail term. Ripolone’s sentencing is set for December 19.
