Montgomery County CVS clerk sells $3 million lottery ticket

LANSDALE, PA – A CVS store in Montgomery County has sold a Pennsylvania Lottery scratch-off ticket worth $3 million, officials confirmed Wednesday.

The $3,000,000 Golden Ticket was purchased at the CVS located at 548 Doylestown Road in Lansdale. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The scratch-off is a $30 game offering multiple top prizes of $3 million. Prizes must be claimed within one year of the game’s official end-sale date.

The Lottery emphasized that tickets are distributed randomly, and neither retailers nor the Lottery know where winning tickets will be sold until they are claimed.

All prizes over $5,000 are subject to applicable tax withholdings.
