Montgomery County Detectives Investigate Bank Fraud

ROCKLAND, MD – The Montgomery County Department of Police – Financial Crimes Section is currently investigating a case of identification fraud and attempted theft.

The incident took place at the NASA Federal Credit Union on Rockville Pike in Rockville.

On November 24, a female suspect attempted to withdraw money using a fictitious driver’s license. Upon refusal of her request, the suspect left the premises.

Surveillance footage provided a description of the suspect: an adult female in her twenties or thirties with black hair, wearing a white coat, blue jeans, and white shoes.

The police are seeking assistance from the public. Information leading to the arrest of the suspect may result in a reward of up to $10,000. Anonymous tips can be submitted through the Crime Solvers of Montgomery County, MD website.
