Silver Spring store sells back to back $50K Bonus Match 5 jackpot winner

SILVER SPRING, MD — Another Maryland Lottery player is waking up with a $50K jackpot after Thursday night’s Bonus Match 5 drawing delivered the second top-prize winner in as many nights.

The winning ticket was sold at Colesville Beer & Wine located at 13468 New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring.

Lottery officials said the ticket matched all five winning numbers drawn Thursday night — 3, 8, 14, 17 and 29.

The Bonus Ball number for the May 7 drawing was 28.

The Silver Spring jackpot came just one night after another Bonus Match 5 player won $50K on a ticket sold at Anthony’s Bar & Grill in Dunkirk.

Both retailers will receive a $500 bonus for selling top-prize winning tickets.

Maryland Lottery officials said Bonus Match 5 drawings are held every night and tickets start at $1 per play.
