Montgomery County Police Seek Public’s Help in Garland Avenue Burglary Case

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MARYLAND – The Montgomery County Police Department is actively investigating a burglary that occurred on January 11, 2024, at an apartment located on Garland Avenue. The incident, under the jurisdiction of the 3rd District Investigative Section, involved forced entry and theft.

According to the investigation, the burglary took place between 8:30 and 9:20 a.m. The suspect forcibly entered the apartment, stealing various items and money. The victim encountered the suspect upon entering the residence, after which the suspect fled with the stolen goods, heading towards Domer Avenue.

Detectives have obtained surveillance video footage of the suspect from the apartment’s exterior cameras and are seeking assistance from the public in identifying the individual involved.
