Moped-Riding Thieves Rob Woman in Bronx

BRONX, NY — A 58-year-old woman was robbed on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 1, at 3105 Decatur Avenue. At approximately 4:50 PM, the victim was approached from behind by an assailant who forcibly removed her necklaces. A second individual, acting as a lookout, waited outside the building. After the robbery, both individuals fled the scene on a moped, heading down Webster Avenue.

The primary assailant is described as a male with a dark complexion and slim build, last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, white and gray sneakers, and carrying a delivery bag. The lookout is described as a male with a dark complexion and a heavy build, last seen in a black coat, white t-shirt, black pants, and red slippers.

The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention at the scene. The police are actively searching for the two suspects involved in this incident.
