Mother of Fallen Trooper Marc Castellano Continues Move Over Campaign

Donna Setaro has spoken to over 50,000 students about New Jersey’s Move Over Law, which requires drivers to safely move from the right lane, if possible, when an emergency vehicle is on the shoulder of the roadway. The law is designed to protect emergency responders who work on our highways and interstates.

Donna has made it her mission to educate young drivers about New Jersey’s Move Over Law since losing her son, Trooper Marc Castellano, to a line-of-duty motor vehicle crash.

On June 6, 2010, Trooper Castellano was assisting with the search of an armed suspect on Interstate 195 when he was stuck by a passing vehicle. He died several hours later as a result of his injuries.

Pictured is Donna speaking with students from Jackson Memorial High School. We sent some of our troopers to support Donna and to speak with the students and faculty.
