Police say two men punched a transit worker in the face while two women fled on a northbound 6 train.
Bronx, NY – Police are searching for four individuals accused of assaulting an MTA worker inside a Bronx subway station early Tuesday morning, according to the NYPD.
The incident occurred around 1:47 a.m. in the mezzanine area of the Bruckner Boulevard and Hunts Point Avenue “6” subway station.

Dispute inside station escalates

Investigators said the 55-year-old victim was inside the station mezzanine when he was approached by four unidentified individuals.
The group engaged the worker in a verbal dispute that quickly escalated into violence.
Suspects flee in different directions
Police said two of the male suspects began punching the victim in the face before fleeing the station on foot.
The other two individuals, described as female, boarded a northbound 6 train and left the area before officers arrived.

Authorities have not released descriptions of the suspects as the investigation continues.
