YONKERS, NY – On Thursday, Trooper Chan from Troop K participated in the multi-agency operation NY SECURE.
This operation spanned Amtrak’s Empire line, covering stations from Yonkers to Buffalo Depew.
The Amtrak Police spearheaded the operation, receiving support from the New York State Police, MTA Police, and CSX Police.
The NYS Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services coordinated this operation, aiming to unify law enforcement agencies for counterterrorism and crime prevention efforts.
