Multiple Agencies Investigating Latest String of Home Invasions, Stolen Vehicle, Burglaries in Toms River

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Toms River Police Chief Mitch Little today confirmed a series of break-ins, robberies, and home invasions in the township overnight. Three new incidents were reported overnight just days after a brazen armed home invasion.

According to a breaking news report by the Lakewood Scoop, three homes were targeted overnight while the residents slept in their beds. In one incident, the homeowner was awoken, turned on the lights, and thwarted the robbery.

In total, one car was stolen from a driveway in North Dover, and another home was ransacked by multiple burglars who fled the scene with cash and jewelry.

On Thursday, the Toms River Police Chief met with the victims and community leaders.

Chief Little said his department will release more information on the incident later today.
