Multiple DUI Arrests Made in Wall Township

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – A series of arrests were made by Wall Township police on Tuesday, April 30, involving various offenses from driving while intoxicated to drug possession.

Juan C. Berrios Jr., 22, of Trenton, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after Patrolman Orin McKay conducted a vehicle stop on State Highway 35. Berrios was processed and released according to John’s Law, which allows intoxicated drivers to be released to sober individuals.

In a separate incident, Patrolman James Yannazzone investigated a suspicious vehicle on Cleveland Avenue, leading to the arrest of Phillip D. Young, 46, of Freehold. Young faced charges of crack cocaine possession and driving while intoxicated. He was also processed and released under John’s Law.

Additionally, Christina M. Denning, 49, of Newark, was arrested on an active warrant by Patrolman Trent Powers. The warrant was issued by the Wall Township Police Department. Denning was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
