Multiple DWI arrests made in Wall Township traffic stops

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ** – Pre-dawn on Tuesday, authorities arrested Bertin Angel-Lopez, 37, of Belmar, for driving while intoxicated after a vehicle stop on Hwy 138 at Marconi Road. Officers processed and released Angel-Lopez in compliance with John’s Law.

On Wednesday at 2 p.m., law enforcement responded to a motor vehicle accident at Collingswood Circle. Emily Allen, 36, of Florida, was arrested for DWI and processed. Arresting officer Ptl. John Kelly facilitated Allen’s release to another agency due to active warrants.

Shortly after noon on Saturday, a vehicle stop on Hwy 35 resulted in the arrest of Tony Gonzalez, 54, of Toms River. Gonzalez had an active warrant out of Paterson and was released after posting bail following processing.

On Sunday evening, officers responded to reports of an aggressive driver near Hwy 138 and Hwy 35. Ronnell Booker, 60, of Rahway, was arrested for DWI by Ptl. Orin McKay and processed according to John’s Law.

John’s Law requires police to impound vehicles after an arrest.
